There Is Nothing Punny or Funny to Say About This Break-Up...

Bryan and Jennifer Masche, stars of America's WE network reality show, Raising Sextuplets, have split.  When I was home this summer, I caught about 7 minutes of one episode and it didn't really do anything for me. But, I can't imagine 6 babies making me WANT to work on my relationship. So, following Jon and Kate, guess you could see that coming, eh?

Lord of No Engagement Rings....

Elijah Wood has split with girlfriend Pamela Racine (drummer and dancer in the band Gogol Bordello.) Why you ask? Because after 5 years, he couldn't commit to her long-term, FIVE YEARS. What the hell Elijah? I'm SO not leaving a seat for him at my next Passover Sedar, cause I really thought those two were gonna make it!

Which Way Did He Go George?

American actor, comedian, talk show host George Lopez (famous Latino export 2nd only to Dora the Explorer) has announced the amicable split with his wife Ann after 17 years and a KIDNEY TRANSPLANT from her! Jaysus! Let's hope she doesn't ask for that back as part of their divorce settlement.  I thought those kids were gonna make it.

Sad Times At Ridgemont High...

I REALLY thought these kids were gonna make it! Cameron Crowe (writer of Fast Times at Ridgemont High/director of Almost Famous) and Nancy Wilson (guitar goddess from rock band Heart) have apparently been separated since 2008 (however, they kept this from me, to avoid years of sadness) and have filed for divorce.  After 22 years together, come on!

Cheater Watch...

Ok people, I'm not ashamed to say that Cheaters (I prefer host Tommy Grand to Joey Greco) is one of my all-time favourite reality shows, so when all these rumours start swirling in the interweb cesspool-- Ashton's cheating on Demi, Becks is cheating on Posh....say it ain't so!  I'll be waiting patiently...

No Love Lost for Mischa Barton

Wow! 2 posts in one day about a bunch of people I could care less about! Unofficial sources say Mischa Barton has split with her Brit-boyfriend (Ali G look-alike) DJ Ali Love. She only went public with her relationship in July and he apparently didn't like all the attention, wah wah, now we all know his name and will probably charge an arm and a leg (he used to only cost an arm.)  So, not the end of all of our worlds right? But I really thought these kids were gonna make it.

Kim Can't See for Miles and Miles...

Yeah yeah, slow day here at the ol' blog, Kim Kardashian has ended her relatively short relationship with NFL-star Miles Austin. I'm waiting on the edge of my seat to see who her next victim is....

Morgan FREE-man

Today marks the day that Morgan Freeman's divorce from costume designer Myrna Colley-Lee, his wife of 26 years, has been finalized, (even though they split up in December 2007.)  Something tells me Myrna's gonna do OK!  However, if these kids didn't make it, who can?

Music + Soccer = D I V O R C E

We knew these two split up this summer, but today, their divorce actually goes to High Court and their four year marraige will be officially ka-put. For my friends in America who may be wondering, just who are these people? Cheryl is a member of pop group Girls Aloud & an X Factor Judge and Ashley kicks a soccer ball for Chelsea (and he sure is pretty.)  So I thought it should be mentioned we should all shed a little tear for these beautiful people who will, I'm sure, move on, hopefully Cheryl's malaria has moved on as well.

She Can Dish It Out, But Can She Handle the Gossip?

You know I'm just looking for a new blog entry when this is considered news, but sources tell us, (and by sources I mean an email from my sister, thanks Ellen!) that Chelsea Handler, late-night talk show comedienne, best known for dissing the masses and insinuating that she obtained her TV show from her ex-boyfriend Ted Harbert (CEO Comcast Entertainment Group,) has sadly ended her short-lived relationship with Animal Planet star, Dave Salmoni.  On her own show, she announced her break-up, "Up until a couple of weeks ago, I was working very intimately with Animal Planet, but unfortunately, that contract was terminated," she explained. "However I enjoyed being in bed with them and may hook up for an occasional project."  Oh that Chelsea, I figured those two weren't going to make it. Hell I didn't even know they were together!

Awww, my favourite half-Jewish, curly-haired, sunglass-wearing, guitar-playing (we could be friggin' twins right?) rock god has filed for divorce with his wife of almost nine year Perla Ferrar. I really thought those two were gonna make it.

I'm Curbing My Enthusiasm

Well, we all know Larry David split with his real-life wife Laurie, which was sad, but made for great television material in subsequent seasons. However, today I was bummed to read his TV Ex-Wife, Cheryl Hines, is splitting from her real-life husband of 7 years, producer/manager, Paul (not the "Every Time You Go Away") Young.  Aw, I thought those kids were gonna make it.  Something tells me she'll bounce back, as she's awesome.

At 17....

If I had stayed with the guy I was dating when I was 17, he'd be gay right now (well he is, and he's fabulous!) So when I heard the news of Miley Cyrus breaking up with her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, well, I got a little verklempt.  Poor Miley's achy breaky heart will heal soon I'm sure. I know, it's not totally break-up-newsworthy, but I felt like posting something new today! You all KNEW these kids weren't gonna make it, and that's OK.

It feels like yesterday since these two tied the knot, I truly thought these kids were gonna make it. And what's this I hear he's dating  his SNL co-star Abby Elliot, Chris Elliot's daughter? A little soon don't you think Fred?
